The Alianza Technical Program Manager is responsible for the prioritization, scheduling and delivery of new features for Alianza’s Cloud Voice Platform. The Program Manager works with the individual Product Managers, Product Owners, Designers and Development teams to create and prioritize a product roadmap and schedule. The Program Manager manages to the schedule, providing regular updates, coordination and removing high-level roadblocks. The Program Manager is the General Contractor managing the entire project, while the Development Teams are sub-contractors responsible for feature delivery.  

The Program Manager will also assist in the improvement of processes and tools that facilitate the software development lifecycle through discovery, release and customer acceptance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the prioritization and planning of the Alianza product roadmap and provide regular readouts of project progress and status to key stakeholders
  • Assist in defining product vision, creating product roadmaps and formalizing release schedules
  • Monitor executive of the product roadmap, roadmap schedule and overall plan and work with responsible parties to adjust or reset expectations as adjustments are needed
  • Own release management and release planning and coordination
  • Understand the Alianza product portfolio and how those products are used as well as how they can be improved within Alianza constraints
  • Comfortably present information to internal stakeholders and external customers when necessary
  • Work closely with team leadership to understand what is happening on the development team and work to continually improve communication, collaboration and success
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to ensure product and development success


  • Experience as a Program Manager
  • Experience as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner
  • Experience working in an agile (Scrum/Kanban) development environment
  • Must have a strong sense of ownership – owning all things within the product program domain and executing them in a consistent and professional manner
  • Must be comfortable in a ‘CEO of the Product’ role – taking personal responsibility for the features, quality and direction of the Alianza platform
  • Communicate, influence, and work with the product management director and team to ensure alignment with the roadmap, strategy, and specific product plans and implementation
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Experience creating/documenting business processes
