The Alianza Orchestration Layer comprises all the key components required for the Intelligent Communications Fabric to leverage the underlying infrastructure layer when delivering advanced AI-powered consumer experiences.

Media and Signaling Interworking

Alianza’s media and signaling interworking component terminates traditional telecom protocols such as SIP and RTP and exposes them as modern APIs and media formats suitable for web applications or AI services. When required, it is transparently inserted into the call path as either a terminating user agent (UA) or a back-to-back user agent (B2BUA), using redirects at call setup and RTP forking to duplicate media streams for processing.

Data Ingestion and Normalization

The data functions of Alianza’s Intelligent Communications Fabric proactively capture and transforms raw network events and traffic into structured, contextualized, and stateful information capable of driving actionable infrastructure intelligence and powering modern user experiences. The data-centric components of Alianza’s Orchestration Layer acquire, normalize, index and stores voice packets, signaling messages, along with subscriber records, call detail records, alarms, and telemetry such as jitter, latency, and packet loss.

Provisioning Interfaces

Our Orchestration Layer’s provisioning interfaces abstract the complexity of the Intelligent Communications Fabric’s underlying network infrastructure layer from AI applications and developers looking to harness the data it generates or control the services it enables. These APIs standardize resource requests and access to data repositories while eliminating the need for software vendors to understand the network architecture, vendor-specific platform interfaces, the signaling and control plane protocols employed, or how media is handled.

Observability and Insights

The Observability elements of the Alianza Intelligent Communications Fabric facilitate real-time visibility into the operation of a network, its services, and the enhanced applications they enable. It is responsible for correlating the logs, events, and telemetry information collected by the data components and presenting them to operations teams in dashboards or to other applications capable of autonomously acting on any trends and anomalies identified.

Security and Access Control
Protecting consumers and the integrity of operator infrastructure is critically important. The Alianza Intelligent Communications Fabric has been architected from the ground up to safeguard the users it serves, the data it collects and the interfaces it exposes. We leverage the latest Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) frameworks to guarantee only permitted applications and individuals can invoke network capabilities or access data repositories. A centralized policy management engine also enforces role-based access control, rate limiting, and quota management – not only preventing broad abuse but containing the impact of faulty or compromised software by limiting the blast radius.
